GUTHRIE, OK—NOVEMBER 14, 2021—In a special TRACK Magazine Monday Report published today (Nov. 14), Lazy E Ranch announced Monty McNair will join the Lazy E Ranch management team.
"We are extremely excited to add someone with Monty's experience and credentials here at Lazy E Ranch," Butch Wise told Track Magazine's Ben Hudson. "Monty has grown up in this business and this addition reflects a natural progression in our organizations sustainability."
According to the article McNair will join longtime manager Matt Whitman in upholding Lazy E's proven business model. Wise said the ranch plans to continue to provide the same level of service they have been known for in breeding, year-around-care, superior stallions, sales prep and sales representation.
Wise, a past-president of the AQHA, said he will still be involved on a day-to-day basis and will continue to offer service and advise to Lazy E clients. McNair and Witman will be responsible for running the ranch.
"Their management will allow me to work on projects that will hopefully continue to grow the Quarter Horse industry both domestically and internationally," Wise said.
Reliance Ranches, LLC, a Texas-based company owned by the father-and-son Gary and Micah McKinney, purchased Lazy E Ranch in 2013.
