Stakes winner Love The Way You Fly will head nine other sprinters in Saturday’s 300-yard, $25,000 Gentilly Dash Stakes at Evangeline Downs.

OPELOUSAS, LA—NOVEMBER 15, 2021—Ten sprinters, headed by Love The Way You Fly and On Point, are entered in Saturday’s 300-yard, $25,000 Gentilly Dash Stakes at Evangeline Downs.

Love The Way You Fly is a 4-year-old son of Furyofthewind trained by Trey Ellis for owner Todd Matte. The stallion has earned $41,550 from five races this year, and his season resume includes a half-length victory in the 220-yard, $50,000 Flying Breed Stakes (R) at Delta Downs on July 31.

Love The Way You Fly drew post 8 and will be ridden by Juan F. Garcia Jr.

On Point has made only two official starts this year, but the 5-year-old Five Bar Cartel gelding ended his 4-year-old campaign with a half-length victory in the 2020 Gentilly Dash Stakes. Kenneth Roberts Sr. trains On Point for owner Yasniel Vasquez.

On Point drew post 2 and will be ridden by David Alvarez.
