Multiple stakes winner Apollitical B Snow will be looking for his fifth consecutive win in Saturday’s 400-yard, $40,000 Opelousas Stakes (RG3) at Evangeline Downs.

OPELOUSAS, LA—NOVEMBER 9, 2021—Christopher A. Villatoro’s Apollitical B Snow, a 4-year-old son of Apollitical Blood trained by Rosendo Valdez Jr., will put his four-race win streak on the line in Saturday’s 400-yard, $40,000 Opelousas Stakes (RG3) at Evangeline Downs.

Apollitical B Snow will be stretching out in distance off of his half-length victory in the 350-yard, $35,000 Mid-City Stakes (RG3) on October 9. The gelding has won four stakes and has earned $132,798 from five outs this season.

Apollitical B Snow drew post 3 and will be ridden by Everardo Rodriguez.

Other contenders include Lifeinthefastlanes, a 4-year-old daughter of champion Jess Louisiana Blue trained by Kenneth Roberts Sr. for owner Paragon Farms LLC. Lifeinthefastlanes has banked $67,850 from five starts this season, and his seven wins in eight outs at the 400-yard distance include a head victory in the July 5, $65,000 Vals Fortune Stakes (RG2) at Delta Downs.

Lifeinthefastlanes drew post 7 and will be ridden by David Alvarez.
