Three-time stakes winner Apollitical B Snow puts his three-race win streak on the line in Saturday’s 350-yard, $35,000 Mid-City Stakes (R) for Louisiana-breds at Evangeline Downs.

OPELOUSAS, LA—OCTOBER 5, 2021—Apollitical B Snow, a 4-year-old son of Apollitical Blood racing for Christopher A. Villatoro, put his three-race win streak on the line in Saturday’s 350-yard, $35,000 Mid-City Stakes (R) for Louisiana-breds at Evangeline Downs.

Apollitical B Snow won three stakes at three different distances during the Delta Downs meet, including the 440-yard, $75,000 Louisiana Classic (RG2) on July 31. The gelding has earned $111,798 from four starts this season.

Apollitical B Snow drew post 8 and will be ridden by Everardo Rodriguez for trainer Rosendo Valdez Jr.

Other contenders include Lifeinthefastlanes, a 4-year-old daughter of champion Jess Louisiana Blue trained by Kenneth Roberts Sr. for Thomas Lipar’s Paragon Farms LlC. Lifeinthefastlanes is coming off of a second-place finish to Apollitical B Snow in the Louisiana Classic. However, the mare has won three of her four outs at Evangeline Downs, including last year’s 400-yard, $274,000 Louisiana QHBA Breeders’ Derby (RG3).

Lifeinthefastlanes drew the rail post and will be ridden by David Alvarez.
