GUTHRIE, OK—OCTOBER 28, 2021—Lazy E Ranch announced its 2022 stud fees today, led by the #2 all-time leading sire of money earners Corona Cartel at $20,000.
Corona Cartel has sired 373 black type (22%), earners of more than $65.8 million with average earnings per starter of nearly $40,000 year-to-date. A "sire of sires", he has no less than six sons currently in the top 25 Leading Sires of Money Earners for 2021.
AQHA Racing champion Jess Good Candy leads the second-crop sire's list for 2021 with six stakes winners and earners of $2.4 million year-to-date. His 2021 2-year-old crop is led by multiple grade 1 winner Jess Savin Candy ($1,046,200), winner of the Ruidoso QH Futurity(G1) and the Rainbow QH Futurity(G1). Jess Good Candy's fee will remain $9,500 for 2022.
Two-time AQHA Racing champion Kvn Corona was the 2021 leading first-crop sire of sale-yearlings with 49 head averaging $42,689. His 2022 fee will remain $5,000.
