Jess Different, Half-Brother to Champion Uncle D To Cox Stallion Station For 2022

KAPLAN, LA—OCTOBER 8, 2021—Jess Different SI 91, a half-brother to two-champion Uncle D by leading "sire of sires" Mr Jess Perry, will stand his first season in 2022 at Cox Stallion Station in Kaplan, Louisiana. His fee has been set at $1,000.

"He's (Jess Different) a grand individual that was retired early due to an ankle injury," Cox Stallion Station manager Jerome Bellard said.

A $220,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale graduate, Jess Different won two of five career starts for owner Cox-Lane LLC. He broke his maiden at Remington Park at 2 and won his trial for the Rainbow Derby in his last career start at Ruidoso Downs. He earned $18,126.

Jess Different's sire, Mr Jess Perry SI 113 (two-time champion $687,184), is the #3 all-time leading sire of money earners with 156 stakes winners, 9 champions, 980 winners with earnings of more than $59.1 million.
