First Crop Sire Roarrr Gets First Stakes Winner

PILOT POINT, TX—JULY 3, 2021—First crop sire Roarrr, an unraced son of leading sire Tres Seis, got his first stakes winner Saturday when Hear Me Roarrr won the $49,140 Utah Bred Futurity at Wyoming Downs.

Hear Me Roarrr was an impressive gate-to-wire winner for trainer Riley Moosman. The final time of :17.978 earned the filly an 84 speed index, into a 5 mph headwind, over a fast track.

Hear Me Roarrr was ridden by Jesus Canales for owner Keith Nellesen. The filly was bred in Utah by McColee Land & Livestock from the stakes winner and Grade 1 placed First Down Dash mare Aquafina.

Hear Me Roarrr was the fifth fastest qualifier after finishing second in her trial. Earlier this year, she won her trial to the Hadley/Giles Futurity and finished third in the final as the second fastest qualifier. Hear Me Roarrr has lit-the-board in four career starts, including two wins, and has earned $34,865.

Out of the Dash Ta Fam mare Dash Ta Vanila, Roarrr's incentives include Pink Buckle, Ruby Buckle and Future Fortunes.
