Multiple Grade 1 Winner San Lorenzo Retired to Spring Hill Farms

KAPLAN, LA—NOVEMBER 22, 2021—San Lorenzo SI 105, winner of two $1-million dollar futurities in 2020, has been retired from racing and will stand the 2022 breeding season at Spring Hill Farms for a fee of $2,500, with consideration, the Kaplan, Louisiana farm announced today.

"San Lorenzo was one of the fastest Louisiana Million Futurity winners ever. He is a wonderful blend of looks, pedigree and speed," said David Dunn, Spring Hill Farms owner. "He was a $65,000 LQHBA yearling repurchase bought privately from his breeders by Rogelio Marquez, Jr."

"San Lorenzo possess a classic pedigree on both top and bottom for 'siring sires' and 'producing sires'. This magnificent young sire prospect is expected to arrive here mid December and I invite all breeders to come by and see him," Dunn concluded.
