RED DEER, ALB—AUGUST 13, 2021—An online version of the 2021 AQHRA Canada QH Cup Yearling & Mixed Sale is now available. The 26th annual sale will be held Friday, September 17th at the Westerner Park in Red Deer Alberta, Canada.

The sale will feature 23 yearlings and one broodmare. Approximate time the sale will get underway is 6:00 p.m. (MT), directly following the CTHS Alberta Sale.

Incentives to buy and sale in the AQHRA Canada QH Cup Yearling & Mixed Sale:

• Yearlings which pass through the sale’s ring in 2021 get a reduced entry fee into the 2022 Canada QH Cup (RG3) Futurity, Estimated Added: $60,000
• There will be a $15,000 Estimated Added Sale Stakes Futurity in 2022 for yearlings which pass through the 2021 sale’s ring

Generation of Berths:

1. Yearling which passes through the sale ring receives a non-transferable berth to both the Canada QH Cup Futurity and the Sales Stakes Futurity.
2. Consignor of sold yearling which passes through the sale’s ring receives an open berth for the Canada QH Cup Futurity.

• Purchaser of sold yearling which passes through the sale’s ring receives an open berth for the Canada QH Cup Futurity.

Open berths revert to the AQHRA on January 20, 2022. They will then be available for purchase for $500 on a first come, first paid basis. Monies collected from these reverted berths will go into the AQHRA general funds. Late payment structure will be offered for the 2022 Canada QH Cup (RG3) Futurity

The upset bid is $1000 for any yearling in the catalogue and the upset bid is $500 for aged horses in the catalogue.
