ALTOONA, IA—AUGUST 10, 2021—Tom Maher’s Apollitical Mogul heads a field of seven fillies and mares entered in Saturday’s 400-yard, $36,933 Q-Racing Video Prairie Meadows Distaff Challenge (G3) at Prairie Meadows.

A 5-year-old daughter of world champion Apollitical Jess trained by Jason Olmstead, Apollitical Mogul is coming off of a second-place finish, a half of a length behind winner Lynnder 16, in the July 6, $39,000 Q-Racing Video Canterbury Park Distaff Challenge. The mare has won eight of 29 races, including five of 12 at the 400-yard distance, and she has earned $168,334.

Apollitical Mogul drew post 4 and will be ridden by Edwin Escobedo.

The winner of this race will earn a berth in the October 23, $100,000 Q-Racing Video Distaff Challenge Championship (G1) at Albuquerque Downs. The complete lineup, in post position order including jockey assignments:
